This idea is just DUMB. If I rear ended you on a trail coming off the hill, I’d be getting your insurance to pay for the damage.

I get so pissed when some guy does not put his head light on [that was a few years back when machines could do that] I want to see you. Such a dumb Idea leave it alone to protect you and or your buddies.

10years on my one sled with no taillight and never had a problem. But also I don’t ride in high traffic areas either.

Don't worry ohas guys I don't ride where anyone else is.
Just needed all the the room I can get for packing chainsaw and snowshoes etc while getting into my camp.

Instead of deleting why not use a low profile LED tail light? Leaves plenty of room and still have the benefit of a tail light.
