2g for revalved a resprung front x shocks, revalved front center shock, and a new freeride rear shock, and stiffer torsion springs. He also does more than that for the G4. Turbo sled valving etc, Tim will customize the setup.

Ever price a new revalved c-40 from the dealer?

Its more expensive to do a SP but for a extra 900 bucks your getting all new shocks.

Comparing mine to a standard x the, standard x is way softer on the shop floor.

Ive never rode a enzo G4 without a tmotion delete so I cannot comment on it. I have a rode Doo turbos with it and its very nice.

Your still starting with a ****ty shock.
Would spend the little extra and grab elkas.

Keep the stockers and sell the elkas/raptors when you sell the sled.

IMO

Are you running the torsion spacers that keep the coils centred on the shaft? Hard to tell in that pic. I’m thinking of trying them on the new one before I put my coil over and baker arm in just to see if they actually make a difference.

I ran the torsion spacers on my freeride and have a set on my SP with fox zero 1.5's, typically after the spacers are installed you turn the blocks back 2 setting (5 prior 3 after). and takes up 80% of the sag.

These shocks are far from ****ty. In the stock valving and setup form yes, I agree.
In the beginning I was on the fence about them as well till, I bought a used sled with the enzo already done.
Now actually riding and feeling the difference between a stock x shock and a enzo equipped G4 both locked out the results are well worth the cost of the enzo kit.
It was the first upgrade I did to my sled, I wouldn’t ride it with the stock shocks.

Most are after the cool factor of the big name brands, which is fine till I ride another sled with different shocks and suspension setup, Ill wait and see if the extra 1500 bucks is worth the cost on the x, especially when there is a turbo under the hood.

So one thing I have never seen is a frozen shock on a doo, where seen lots of po pos, and usually frozen down cock stiff

Definitely one disadvantage to a shock spring combo

Can someone explain hydraulic lockout?

I think its like that alpha rear shock. It’s stiffens up the shock so much that it will prevent the rear of the skid from collapsing. If enough of a impact is sensed the shocks dampening will return to normal.
