My QE 2 takes a long time at WOT stuck then makes a Big Bang.

I just keep it pinned.

T Team said pin it

You think T-team is the right guy to take advice from?

Picking up my New HD10 today, ordered these beauty Dragonfire Bumpers to dress it up, I am very impressed.

Looks good indy! Those bumpers are nice.
I just ordered some 29" rubber for the little hd8. Are you getting tracks?

Has anybody done a lift kit on these? I was hoping to put some bigger tires on it for going out west but keep the stock tires for around the yard

Just a 2" lift is enough. I just want some 30" zillas on it. I was hoping to do a bracket lift so I don't compress the springs to much

Wouldn't mind the high clearance a-arms as well

I thought I read that you could put 30 inch tires on these things with no lift needed....and no rubbing at all.

Have a few short trips on our 2017 Defender max XT HD10. Wow, what an upgrade from our ranger 800! Unreal the fit and finish. SOOO much smoother. Actually not impressed with the power so far though. On paper it should have around double the horsepower of our ranger, but it really doesnt feel much different. I guess it is quite a bit bigger, and im guessing it has a break in mode?

Put a folding lexan windshield on it. Pretty happy with it. IMHO the folding windshields are the only way to go. Full protection when you want it.....get too warm just fold it down for some airflow.

I think you can put 30s on without the lift but I do like a little assurance that I won't get stuck as often. These things are a b**ch to get out if they are stuck good. As far as power goes I didn't notice a real difference from the ranger to the defender either but I think they are geared more for torque. Designed more towards work. As far as fit and finish, smoothness and quality of ride you're right there is no comparison

If you are on facebook get ahold of Jake Moorhead. He builds some awesome defender lifts.

Which brand folding windshield did you go with?

I live right on the US border so I was able to order off of amazon.com. I paid 325 US shipped. So tack on exchange and 12% for the good old BC goverment at the border and I think I was around 500

I picked up a rear windshield today. Went cheap ($170) so hopefully it's not a piece of junk!

Even if it's a cheap one that scratches easy it's a rear you don't always look through it.

Dont you guys find the rear windshields cause a weird air current in the cab that causes dust to circulate? We had one in our ranger and we ended up taking it out.
