We stayed at the ramada back in august and the parking lot was wide open. Security would be a problem, from what I remember. Just make sure to lock your stuff up and it should be good. Try not to get a room on the train track side. The train going by, is like staying in a cheap Las Vegas vibrating bed. I'm a fairly light sleeper so it woke me up a couple of times. The rooms were awesome and clean. We had the room with the whirlpool tub. The wife loved the room. People working there were super friendly and accommodating.

There is some peace of mind that with the parking lot lay out at the Days that your rig will be there in the morning. And like CAPER said being next to Zala's is a plus.

wow after reading all these comments (good and bad) I am sure glad I live in the mountains and don't have to deal with good/bad hotels. I travel enough for work and deal with it so I don't want to deal with it on my "fun" time. Anyway, I think the hotel is really splitting hairs in this situation and should go back to good old customer service. Rules are one thing but keep a customer happy you have them for life. Plain and simple (this comes from being raised around the restaurant biz in Golden). Good luck on your fight with management!

Did they at least make your bed?

Well, we stayed at the Days Inn as we have in trips past over New Years. I can confirm the following facts:

-I had around 7-8 beer per evening in the hot tub, nobody bothered us - filled their garbage can with empties every night. So I assume if they gave a f*** they would've been paying attention to us in there. They also have a camera on the outdoor and indoor. Never once came to bug us.
-The room is what you expect at the Days Inn, needs updating but comfortable and does the trick
-Parking lot is tight, but after a snowfall they immediately cleaned the entire lot and sidewalks
-Breakfast was adequate, a bit of protein would be nice

Overall, very accommodating, and normal experience from a 3* or whatever it is.

HAHA, funny enough, the wife left a pair of pants on there one day and they didn't make it. But, the other 3 nights they made the bed (I think).

Funnier though - we came back from the hill one evening and they were JUST cleaning our room. The wife goes in to the room and the cleaning lady is in there and she unprompted, without any conversation looks at my wife and says, "stay in school or you'll end up cleaning rooms here." I'm guessing the level of job satisfaction is reflected in the level of effort. HAHA!

Lmao! I guess we had the same cleaning lady cause she said the samething to us.

Booooo-yah boys, oil cracked $60 US, first time in a long time again... Patch is firing back up on all 8 cylinders, chaulk up some bumps in the Burandht, order a whole box of grey goose. Yeeeee-haw

Just spent another 3days at Days Inn and nothing but exceptional service as usual. Last 15 years about the same? Hmm.

Public service announcement.... the Days Inn at Revelstoke is still o-****ing-k. No drama, good rates, bed made 1/2
days, towels replenished 1/2 days but most importantly left alone in the hot tub to unwind after a fan-****ing-tastic day of riding fresh untouched at a reasonable rate per night. It’s no Hilton but the wife isn’t with me so what do I care.

Looks like blondes are more fun !
