if your dess keys are backwards the sled wont rev high enough to engage clutch. It will idle to warm up and thats about it. wont cause light to flash either i dont think. at least mine doesn't. i let it warm up using buddies key and him mine. never seen that light come on at all on either sled. they will rev to about 3800 then start missing.

if you own both sleds and not selling anytime soon, why not take sleds to dealer and have both keys programed for both sleds and maybe have one spare made. easy peazy. makes life easy.

I am confused though, you have both sleds and both DESS keys, can't you just swap the keys and try it again? I mix up my buddies and mine all the time because I carry the dess's when we are transporting them.

Ya something doesn't add up. You sure their yours????? I have mixed mine up with my bros, and my dads, never had issues besides not reving up, and misfiring until right key was in there.
