When I bought my new doo I had to buy a set of plugs, belt and a tarp but it has always been that way when I buy a new sled I don't know what you guys are getting your knickers in a knot about? These are small businesses and they do have to cover there costs. Truth be known they don't make that much on the sale of the sled it is all the other stuff that they sell that is sled related and this is an expensive sport get use to it!!!!!

so many cheapskates on this site lmao..

you can buy a 13K sled,

haul it in a 30-70K truck

in a 5-20K trailer

but cant shell out 200 bucks for a belt and get mad at a dealer for not giving it away??

you gotta pay to play boys.. we all knew this sport wasnt cheap!!

Picked up a new 163 from Cycle works West a month ago, just had a look at my invoice and they charged me $171.00 for a new 115 belt. Not sure if this price is a one time deal at the time of purchase, seems to be a few different prices out there.

how many riders stay at a 125.00 a night motel instead of a 65.00 room drink 30.00 bottle booze. the sport is expensive just got back from a 6 day ride with the wife all in 2000.00 that does not include the truck and 2 sled cost

that's retarded, 276 bucks, but i believe it. when i bought my sled from cycleworks i picked it up and proceeded to ask them where the spare belt and spark plugs were. "oh, you are going to have to buy that" they told me. oh sweet, i spend 12k on a sled and i have to buy 3$ spark plugs and a 200$ belt

Get a grip, spare belts, plugs, travel covers etc. are not free any where.

Some dealers like mine (MrR's) have a loyalty program and give a discount on accesories anytime they are purchased but common sense would say you negotiate the sled price with all the accessories you need up front and if that was a price for a belt start shopping elsewhere

I've been using the NAPA belt (from boostit) .. It's just under $100... And with proper break in and if u let the clutches cool down after a long pull they are pretty good belt.

The dealers can charge whatever they want, you didn't have to pay for it then start a thread about cycle works.

A properly clutched sled produces minimal heat.

I paid 190 plus taxes from Cycle Works Okotoks. So far, my dealings with them have been fantastic, but thats just my experience.

Why wouldn't you have questioned it at the till. Instead buy it and bitch on here about it... I've dealt with them for years (Seitzco) and never had one complaint. Worst thing they ever did was started selling Polaris.

But you'll pay $60000 for a new diesel pickup and pay $375 for a spare tire and not bat an eye?
