cv boot clamps

The clamps that come with kimpex boots how do you tighten them doesnt look like you use a special tool they just have a couple barbs?

them kimpex boots were did u get them, are they an after market thing and what are they worth.

I ordered mine from royal distributing for 20 bucks which includes grease and the clamp that im not sure how to get tight.I think that t @ t powersports in bonnyville sells them though, not sure on his price.They were 63 bucks from a dealer.

ya there about 20 bucks, you can also get just replacement clamps set - enough for two boots,, 6 or 7 bucks..... i think the guys in the back use a tool available from bumper to bumper its about 20 bucks or like they tell me if your as good as them you can do it with a pair of needle nose and a flat screwdriver... id buy the plyers and not f with it.......

I use vise grips and a flat screw driver works pretty good

Yah my friend had a pair of the pliers, simple simple.Seen pliers now in princess auto and napa for about 20 bucks.
