OK guys and you know who. Give the young guy some praise. Its hard to get any younguns to do anything on their own these days. He has painted HIS sled the way he wants it. Its HIS sled and if he is happy with it that is good enough. He will get better with more time and much needed knowledge on painting. With all this negative response he is getting he maybe will give up sledding and custimizing HIS sled and may just start putting his painting skills to someones garage door or maybe the side of a nice 28 foot enclosed trailer. It may just be one of YOUR trailers.
Thunder guy good try for your first try. If it gets scratched try a whole new design with different colors. All those custom sled painters all started somewhere. Imsick took Rons sled hood to a very good place to have painted. Was a great job looks cool. Bet this guys first paint maybe wasn`t all that great but now he is very good. Keep it up you will get better. If this type of thing is what you want to do go after it and get some training and show these guys what you can do.
Sled looks OK to me have fun with it on the snow and don`t give up.

I too think its pretty good, and my 14 year old son thought its awesome and wants to do his sled.... Just got it built though, so maybe through the winter sometime.... As a matter of fact, 1 or 2 of the guys in the above posts, that are giving you the gears, don't even have a sled right now........ I think you have a great sled there, for a first sled, and looks well built with lots of good parts, and now you have the kewl paint too........ Congrats! ;)

Good for you Thunder guy... It is a one of a kind and people will recognize it. Some may not like it, but to each is own. The ones who do like it will remember it and the ones that don't like it.... Who gives a rats azz. Bottom Line is YOU like it and the sled puts a smile on your face.

i agree here...... Ya, not everybody has the money for a custom job, and a custom job can be done by yourself..... everybody has their own style. But at the ripe old age of 14, I don't think a kid should be bragging about getting wasted and telling others to F Off... JMO....

I hold very little regard for those who do that... At 14, seen and not heard should still be a way of life!!!

The beautiful part about the whole "custom" paint job is..... It has nothing to do with you, or anybody else for that matter. If it does nothing for you, big deal..... it shouldn't. It wasn't designed for you. I did that paint because I wanted my sled to be different..... Anybody can buy a graphics kit...... they look lust like the other sled with it on.

One day you may do a custom job too..... Hopefully you do it to please ur own tastes, not to impress others!!!!
