Seeing that our county has had a lot of requests for startup Bitcoin mining farms in its territory but is getting a lot of opposition from ratepayers at County council meetings. What exactly is a Bitcoin Mining farm and how is that going to impact neighbours?

This is a Bitcoin mine. They use a lot of electricity. But other than that it is just warehouse, you'd even never know whats inside.

Thanks Dan. If they pay their power bill I don’t see what the problem would be?

Thats what I think too. Some people dont like it because it is "bad for the environement"

So is Visa or Master Card. They use a lot of electricty too, but they can get away with it I guess...

I think the problem is more the infrastructure for the power consumption. Many places are not setup to handle that much power usage.

In the right location, fine. I know of one that has three big fawkoff generators blazing away feeding two shacks kind of like this that is close to a nice property. Between the gens and the computer fans, it's a hell of a droning sound, 24-7!

No right beside your house would be best 🤣

Probably lots of industrial activities you dont want beside your place. Thats why we have zoning for industrial, commercial , residential, farming ext ext.

I aint in charge of that though, talk to your local guy! Haha

The only place for tether to go is down, that's if it loses peg with the dollar.
If your looking to park funds I would go with usdc before tether
