Crank Removal

Trying to remove my crank from my 2008 800R. Cannot seem to split my bottom cases. Is there a plate and/or bolts holding the cases together behind the magneto assembly? Any suggestions or advice would be great.

Mine was tough too, but if I remember right, there are dedicated spots where you put a screwdriver into and twist. Do you have the service manual? I will see if I can find it in mine.

You have to remove your flywheel and stator plate.

what dean said.... i think it was 5 bolts that go directly into the case from the stator.
