Looking at maybe installing a CR resonator on my 2018 Sidewinder just wondering if factory heat shields can be used and if not will the extra heat cause any damage to side panels or other components.

No heat shields. And one of mine has a 3" that is even closer to side panels. No issues.

Nope no heat shield. By 3" I mean I have a 3" exhaust that is way bigger coming off a oversized turbo...…...mike I thought you would have spied that out

Something like that. Keep loading it up and it keeps pulling.

Pretty impressive numbers Randy, I like the muff pot setup too. Any tips to shed a bunch of weight off these beasts or are you just going with the “weight doesn’t matter when you get over 300 horse” philosophy? Lol

We are all happy with the quieter pipe you put on Paul. Still sounds great just not nearly as angry. Your old pipe would scream “fawk you mountain “ now it’s a pleasant “screw you mountain”I told you it was gonna be loud, happy eardrums ha ha!! By the way I am quite happy with the noise drop and I have noticed no difference in power from the straight pipe, Lund is right the noise isn't so bad once you get up top.
