Remember the "Lake of Fire Comment" that helped Danielle Smith lose the election to Alison Redford. Although at that time the economy was in much better shape than it is now and there was not the massive unemployment that we are currently experiencing. It's amazing what happens when you have lost your job and you are desperate for work and all of a sudden social issues take a back seat to finding meaningful work.
