Problem with the Rebel is they are the "Enquirer" of Alberta Politics. I used to like the messaging and the investigative reporting but now they are an unreliable source of gossip. Ezra has in the past done some very good reporting but now it's nothing but sensationalism which is typically extreme right wing crap..... no better than the extreme left wing crap.

Not sure why we can't have a centrists political party supported by a centrist media outlet..... I guess anyone who would run or report is too busy working and paying taxes to support all the outspoken yahoos on both extremes.

Mandel fawked up and likely gave the NDP and additional 8-10% support, many folks despise Kenney (he was the wrong choice) the NDP could pull off a minority government.

Trudeau will likely win another term because we are quickly becoming a socialist country and a large portion of the voter public rely on government hand outs, they will not bite the hand that feeds....

I think this error has helped the UCP.

I hope you are wrong about the Libs getting in again...

It hurts my brain to read through the comments on fake news CBC's story on this.

I would be setting all the ignorance straight but I got banned from there a long time ago

*Disclaimer, I have nothing to do with that abomination of a so called news source, a friend sent me the link just because of all the verbal diarrhoea being spread in the comments.

reply from my ucp guy re recent land use changes. ill be paying a visit if he/they/get elected. i hope other will as well.

Hi xxxxx

Thanks so muchfor reaching out with your question regarding Public Land Use Zones andprovincial parks.

I want to saythat, despite the fact that calgary currie is a solidly urban riding and I donot profess to be an expert in the area of Wildlands, provincial parks, orPLUZs, I believe that Albertans are natural conservationists. All of theprovince’s residents have an interest in making sure that we strike the right balancebetween the maintenance of natural ecosystems, recreational use, hunting andangling and infrastructure developments in these areas.

To that end, successive governments have attempted to (albeit slowly) build policy thatbalances these concerns (including OHV use and the associated effects on localecosystems). I will say that I’m concerned about the way the NDP has conductedthese hearings. The process so far has been very prescriptive, ignoring theconcerns of some municipalities and individual Albertans. If I am elected andspecific legislation on this subject comes across my desk, I’ll certainlyconsult my constituents to gauge your feelings on the matter.

I hope thishelps. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additionalquestions.

Albertans want their MLAs to be accountable to them. A UCP government would introduce a Recall Act allowing voters to fire their MLA in between elections if they’ve lost the public’s trust.

In them hills.
Fawking rights.

I am sick and tired of MLA's voting with the party instead of representing the constituents.
