Went to have a look in the lizard range yesterday. It is very thin!!!! Around 60-70cm still a super fun day and nice to get up into the mountains. The area we went to required chains for the truck and has very limited areas to turn around. Another couple good dumps and it will be good to go, hopefully sooner than later.

how far up did you drive? did you go up the morrisey?

I parked at the quarry on the morrisey road last weekend. Yesterday I drove up coal to KM 48, they are logging hard up coal. I have a radio so it was all good. I would recommend parking on the morrisey road. It was good snow right from the quarry last weekend.

It was a weird day that started out with towing a seized up doo, then we tip toed into some meadows that I know of. It was a beautiful day with the sunshine and great temps but we really need some snow. At lunch time we probed 60cm of sugar snow where we stopped, it's pretty scary travelling through the backcountry right now in my opinion. Other people may feel otherwise as I counted 17 vehicles between the quarry and main staging area at morrisey im sure someone will post there findings!
