temperature is temperature. The only thing you are doing is changing the phase of the ice so it freezes at a lower point with the salt. Which theroretically increases contact area with the solution.
If if you pull 2 ice cube trays out of the same freezer they are both the same temp. When they go back to a liquid is the difference.
