Coolant level

I am just wondering if anybody else is having to top up coolant. About every 5th ride I need to add a little only about 25 ml I don't see any leaks

Hey fellas I have a 15 T3 and noticed the plastic "T" fitting for the coolant lines leak intermittently on the mag side down by the pull starter. I have to take mine in as this is the second time I have noticed the pink antifreeze leak. It is the crimped fitting by the looks of things.. Just my 2 cents but gonna be taking mine in to get looked at.

i noticed mine is low as well, but i think as long as it is above the engine head it is fine. with my xp sleds if i try to keep it at the cold line i notice that it just boils it out anyways so i am not too concerned with it being a "little" low

I added zip ties to all hose connection's, double up the clamp

Zip tie expands at the same rate as the plastic couplers and rubber

mine to i think its the water pump seal weep hole when the sled is cold

This year more than others is what I have noticed and I'm thinking it is because of the over heating issues. Some of the coolant boils out the vent line. I have seen the red light on more this year than ever..........just saying

Thanks guys for the feed back I have had the temp up on the gauge on the trail up even with scratchers down.I also had the temp light and over heat warning and the gauge was only at half shut it off for 5 min and every thing was ok I was ripping in heavy snow I think it was an exhaust sensor thing it only happened once anybody else have this

Dealer told me the coolant settles to a certain level and settles differently on all sleds- as did mine. I topped up and it settled about 1cm below the line and hasn't gone back down any lower.
Redline Water Wetter helps keep temps down. Along with a full snow flap and scratchers. And when crappy snow conditions exist, a light and consistent throttle thumb. Braaap brap braaaaaaaaaaap brap brap don't help out.

Ran mine frozen trail last weekend, towing a 100lb skimmer with my powder keg on, my Xm didn't overheat once, the lady's 07 M8 didn't either, both on water wetter. The other xm (missing it's snowflap) and the other M8000 overheated several times.

U need to brapppp to spin snow up inside, centifical force

One steady speed, lots of snow don't go up compared

In really cold temps, the hoses get stiff and shrink. Coolant then will seep out of the coolant fittings. Once sled is started and warmed up no more leaking

My t3 has about 1 1/2" of coolant in the bottle, just over 1500km and never overheated once, always use my factory installed scratchers until I hit the alpine.

It think it's a design flaw, crimp style fittings are not a preferred choice. I've since changed all mine to c clamp. Took it in to have leak test done at the same time.
