Thinking it’s overkill for the rat in the background.

How do you shoot with brake on.
I unthread my 300RUM.
Got a custom threaded on Rem Sendaro barrel.
Mine has extra angle to brake holes so you need plugs and muffs on to shoot.

Very nice deer.
Mine was way smaller rack.

I used cheap ear plugs. Brake was on when I picked up. I have since removed and put cap on threads (it doesn’t kick like a RUM).

Same here.
Hunt with crown protector on and only use brake on the bench.
The RUM only gets annoying to shoulder after about shot #20.
Not even I shoot that bad when out hunting.
When you shoot in the field you are focused and don't feel it.
Brake at the bench is very nice though.
lol

My senior neighbour bought a "BIC" pen dispenser a couple years ago at a garage/moving sale for five bucks, locked no key...you know the one, put two quarters in the slide action, push in, pull back and get a pen.
Sat on the counters in variety stores in the late seventies.
There was something inside, he was going to give it to his teenage nephew to keep his little sister out of his s#!t.
He saw I had a locksmith at my house and he came over to have him open it and change the lock with a key.
In an oil soaked rag inside a plastic bag was this 1850 Derringer, four shot, I believe it's .31 caliber. I think they call it a pepper box? ...I'm not a gun guy/hunter...I've got a couple of paintball guns, does that count :)
Thought it was pretty cool, cheerz!
He was looking for someone at the time that could own a hand gun legally in Canada.

I could be wrong, but there's something in our laws about if a gun is older than some date, like 1875 or something, then it's technically not a gun under the law. So anyone can have it and take it anywhere.

If im not mistaken its 1896. I couldnt get my 1904 colt single action army listed as antique because of that rule.
Plus if its a 32 cal witch the colt is its considered a prohibited. If you have a gun licence you can keep it under a loophole. Register it as a target pistol and get a range pass. All is good then just dont give it to the cops. They will say they will "destroy" it. And then it disappears into a collection. Seen it first hand.

"Empower police to seize guns without criminal charge or conviction"

That one line above should give anyone pause. Confiscation of personal property at a whim of an agent of the crown.

When will they quit with this crap??( I know the answer) Suppose to be aimed at street gangs but dont they all have guns already? Maybe they should just reduce the number of lowlifes in the street gangs instead of harassing the law abiding citizen to turn in their guns!I think we all know that it is just a ploy from this poorly ran government to have full control over the people. My guns will be burried till the day comes when the people have had enough!

We had our company Christmas party last night. We went to Exsile Reloaded indoor range for a couple hours. Had some new shooters who were pretty nervous to start with. Didnt take them long and they were having a blast.

Thanks to the staff at Exsile who really showed us a good time and made everyone feel comfortable about shooting.

We should all take someone new to a range and they can see that guns and shooting aren't as scary as our media and anti gun advocates would like us to beleive.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Looks like a great time. I've helped out at a few business events at our local ranges. Was *** there as range staff?
