when see slides on her own, you know you may not want to be there, you are only adding more to the risk factor. the reports give you the info to make your decision and the final decision is what you see there. pits etc. be safe looking like last year already, rain on the ground and a hidden layer of hoar frost. mother nature will make the decision for you if your not careful

yes the rain crust has potential and this proved it today. this propagated uphill from 45cm of snow to a 166cm deep leeward convex roll. the riders were lucky it was a small slope. If this was a bigger hill, this would have been bad.

Wow no doubt lucky it wasn't a bigger hill. That's crazy deep where the slab broke off. Is the hoar frost everywhere or in certain areas.
