SO...for those of you from Cold Lake and area that dont really feel like going all the way to Bonnyville to get out for rides...who would be interested in starting one up here in Cold Lake? Any suggestions, dates, or times you have in mind?

The trails around are pretty good right now and should only get better after all this snow we have been having.

I am in any time after Christmas ride to mountains.

Enough snow to head to Crane cabin now. Should be able to hit some others after December along the edge of lake.

Keep me posted for a local ride. Have a few buds/ladies that would be in.

Anytime over the holidays sounds good. Lets hope we can get some more snow. Havent even gone out yet myself, but the trails look pounded.

I am looking for committee members for a rally that is in the works for cold lake in feb. I would really like to hear what you have in mind. We are always riding around the cold lake area and I am sure we can collaborate some great ideas and wouldn't mind to go snowmobiling with you sometime:)

Left Cold Lake sunday at noon...ditch banged all the way to Bonnyville, had a timmies, then took the trail most of the way back and it was a awesome ride. A couple buddies went out the May Lake trail and said that was pretty good but the lake is still a little soft in spots. Hopefully we get a little more snow and it will make for a perfect sledding season!

About noon today, Ray from St. Paul handed off the groomer at B'ville to Dean from Cold Lake Club, who is heading NEward on the IHTrail to clean up their North Trails from Last weekend's Rally pounding.
Great volunteers!
Question for discussions: should the previous rally kick in some trail grooming cash to help out the sled club there that maintains that trail? (Groomer costs over $200/hr to operate).

ASA Trail Passes pave your way.
