yep, I have always dealt with them. wrote off a brand new '99 670 one spring, they told me to take it to the dealership, adjuster came and looked at it, had a cheque in a week. they wouldn't let me buy it back though, said I had to go to the auction and bid if I wanted it back.

been with Co-operators since I was 16, they have been awesome for me with my sleds, d-bikes, Harleys and vehicles. Had a few claims and they were right on it.

Straight vertical through drift, front dropped dead centre on rock! Pushed up huge dent in belly, tore off front cooler. So any guesses on damages, repairable/ write off? Haven't taken a look in engine compartment yet.

pretty sure your looking at a new tunnel could be a write off. but i cant remember what that bent peice attaches too. ive seen much less damage estimated at 8000. that is ugly

Had my 850 with them. Covered my engine when the connecting rod bent. let me do the repairs myself. Just got me to get an estimate and gave me a check within a week.

How did you get them to cover an engine for part failure?

They're great to deal with. I wrote off my 08 and it was a very smooth process. They also let me buy it back for next to nothing.

yepp on the to do list, it is sitting against shop wall. Had a leaky y-pipe gasket, and a damaged from screen to fix. was waiting on parts so could do all at once. Pulling pipe off is a pain in the ass, didn't want to do it anymore than had to. I gues hindsight is 20/20!

some kind of salvage auction place in Edmonton is what they told me. they stated the reason they couldn't sell it back to me was because of people fixing up written off machines and reselling them, and the insurance companies not doing their homework when the next owner insures them the policy is void in the case of another accident. I guess things must have changed since '99/2000 as the general posted he was able to buy his back. that kinda pisses me off, that '99 670HO was a beast of a motor. would have made a sweet project sled.

Well gotta drop sled off at dealer, and wait for the adjuster to have a look.
