Just curious if anyone on here has heard about these. I would think it's probably a decent product. Anything has to be better then the cheap plastic stock ones.

The plastic style they went to in 08? is a little weaker of a design. A tree hit or roll over has lead to them breaking off leaving you with no brakes.

These russians make a version although I have no idea how long it would take you to get it

Aluminium Master Brake Cylinder Reservoir Ass (for BRP Ski Doo Lynx Snowmobiles) | eBay

The better solution if you are worried is to run a master cylinder assembly from a Pre 08 sled or the 2012 Summit X came with them as well, maybe other years. They are one piece cast and very strong.

Cant see changing it until that happens, but hitting tree you bound to break the lines off regardless of what the material reservoir material is made of.

negative... speaking from experience.

X2

The reservoir just breaks off. Going to an aluminum one I think will just lead to more damage of the rest of it.

Either keep it plastic or go to the old style. $50 on eBay.

Banner has them as well, $130 for the body and $30 for the lid ! And as mentioned, probably just break other stuff cause it's aluminum and won't break as quick!

If you knock off your reservoir and lose your brakes you might be able to get them back by adding some water to where it broke and pump the heck out of the lever. You will need to flush your system when you replace it.
