pur/gr with 415's is the stock set-up. Try a pur/blu or pur/pur with around 16g pin weight.

The track is a 151...I know he changed the helix i am not sure if he changed the spring .... i haven't taken that apart yet i plan to do that today... as for asking what he did is not going to work because he says he doesn't remember.... that is why next time i am going to buy brand new

Use a stock secondary spring with a 44/40 helix, Then put a blue/blue primary spring in it and use 1mm oversize rollers as the stock doo ones are crappy and use the threaded pins with no weight added to it and you will be amazed at how well that works.. It'll bring your trail rpm down and it'll pull really hard.

Go with Glen's setup, he knows his chit and i went with something similar he suggested, AMAZING !! i was getting 77km/hr in 2 feet powder with a setup base. THANKS GLEN !!!

159XRS setup: BRP blu/blu primary spring, Fett bro's 1mm over rollers (stock ones were worn out when i changed them 2600km) Dalton 44/36 helix.

*HIJACK*
Sorry just a question, i have the blue/blue (130/290) primary spring and stock weight (whatever pins and the tiny setscrew) and im on clicker 5 at perfect rpm, but i want to be down at 2 (this would be perfect) what spring would i need to go with and what kind of weight ? would i be able to get there without changing the pins and just adding longer setscrew ?

PS: almost forgot, float your secondary clutch, this allows it to move freely back and forth so it self aligns, your burning belt issues could be cause by poor alignment. You can buy the spacer from a few people off dootalk, i got mine from duck899 in edmonton. Great product, easy install no more alignment problems !

To bring it down from clicker number 5 you dont have to change spring as you want to keep that one.. Just take allt he set screws out of the pins.. For every hram of weight you take out of the pin it'll raise your rpm by about 200rpm.

Iv been told that higher pin weights produce a higher top speed and more grab on the belt, so i wanted to go up in weight to see what it did. DJ's kit will produce 80-85km/h track speed (#'s from another XRS rider with his kit). Although my highest speed was 77km/h, at some times it would be down to 65km/h. So im really just doing a test and tune setup right now, it seems like the place you want to be is around 80km/h as most kits claim they will get this. What makes the blue/blue spring good ? the the start or finish force ? i would think they would be need to change if pin weight increased.

(All track speed #'s are WOT and climbing)

I got all my parts for specialty sleds in edmonton, they shipped it to calgary by bus, if you live there you could probably go pick the stuff up, they had it all in stock.
