Just wondering who runs this helmet and how do you like it. Debating between this and the 509 altitude. Aswell who deals with these helmets. Checked Ralph’s in Calgary and they only have large but looking for an xl size. Thanks

I love mine.
I find i still fog. Not as bad as when i ran motorfist.
I have the quick connect 210 vented goggles. If those vents plug off with snow then i fog.

I love that the nose piece flips down. However i find ice will build in the hinge and it doesn't like to latch. Chip the ice out and it'll latch fine.

Warmer riding i pull the rubber out of the nose cone. Colder riding i put it back it.

I did find the padding pounded out. So i had to stuff some rags between the shell and padding. Its been good since.

Was a absolute POS hahah almost threw that thing off the mountain. Could never keep the goggles from fogging even with a cleaning spray. Tried my other balaclavas and opened closed vents and blah blah just didn’t work for me and was the biggest waste of money. Went back to a 509 and fox goggles and will probably not buy another one again. Cool idea but never used the flip down mouth thing cause mine always was froze **** or popped off........

I love mine. Great helmet. I went through 2 sets of goggles under warranty because the lenses seperate. Last set of the new updated ones are working perfect. Complain to your dealer guys about your goggles. My dealer just kept sending mine back till the updated ones came available. Bow Ridge Sports sells those helmets altaredneck and they are in your town. Lol

Nice I will have to see if they have any in stock. Just gonna keep watching people’s experiences with the helmet as there seems to be a split on like vs dislike right now. Thx

I like that I don't have to take it off on a cold day and eat lunch or have a drink of water. Its a warm helmet as well and fits nice.

Game changer for me! The ability to open the mouth piece and catch my breath when needed is priceless. You tend to just keep your helmet and goggles on during short breaks instead of ripping it off to catch your breath or pull a ski. New for me this season but love it. Have a few trips in various weather and it’s been great. - 30 mornings last weekend and -15 days in the alpine , no for freeze up issues cleaned ice one off the clip that attaches the muzzle once during the weekend as it wanted to pop loose at the bottom when I wanted to close it but it was cold and I was dripping. 2 others with Clx in that group.

The goggles accessories to close it up for trails are just a bonus. I was buying a helmet. Best cure for any google fogging issue is heated goggles.

Best helmet I have owned, great for use on cold days, I have the electric goggles, only use them on humid days as the googles don’t fog for me, I remove them as soon as I stop

Love mine. Ordered a XXL based off their sizing chart, fit big after a couple rides. Called Fortune where I ordered and they send me out a set of XL pads free of charge. Lost a muzzle digging out one day so that sucked and was $37 to order another one. Would be great if they had some sort of tether.

Fairly light, goggle fit great but do still fog a bit if you don't have some sort of no fog balaclava. I carry 2 sets of goggles anyway and switch out if they get bad. Oakley's and Smith's fit great.

I have one of the first versions, the newest ones have quite a bit more venting so might not fog as bad.

If it was to do it again I would get the heated goggle lenses as well.

Best helmet i have owned to date. i have no fogging issues , but ive got all the accessories that come with it in the box still.
I just bought my wife one this year, she likes the fact she can breath when shes winded and simply open it.

Cons:
-mouthpiece hinge freezes sometimes but i just push harder to shut it... (would never go back to motorcross style)
-its slightly larger than other brands

Absolutely hated my 509 altitude they're garbage, they fit like sh!t. Most uncomfortable helmet I've ever owned. Bought it cause it was cheap and regretted it after the first day.

2 friends I know have the titans, only complaint I've heard is the connection to the heated goggles is garbage.

I ended up buying the FXR Helium helmet after climbmax was talking about how nice they are and it's my favorite one yet

I wear glasses and the solution to either the glasses or the goggles fogging hasn't really been invented yet, IMHO. The initial Titan goggles didn't last a season. The foam came apart and they were junk (in the garbage after 50 days of riding. The newer versions are better. The beast combination for my self has been to disconnect the chin piece and put it in my tunnel bag. My glasses protect my eyes from the wind and on the days that I have to wear goggles (raining/snowing/deep pow), they work fine. Loved the concept of opening the front for breathing but I don't do that anymore.

As for the helmet, I find it good. Fits well and is vented well. The second one I bought (from Bow Ridge Sports) is better put together than the first one.

Need CKX googles to fit properly.
Bite your cheeks inside if you eat with helmut on - chew slow an careful, unless you buy one size big..
Their remote power pack heated goggles suck, fogged up.
Plug off vents when cold and all good.
Great fit and not heavy.
Much better to drink, breathe in than any other helmut
Pop open front when stuck or need extra unrestricted breathing/air.
Overall I would get one again, 3 years and still like it overall.

Had mine since they came out. Only cons are it gets a little warm. Might buy the air flow version they came out with that has better venting. And the other con is the foam on the googles get really hard if left in the cold. But they do soften up quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one. Plus 509 sinister x5 don’t fit to bad either in them.

I love mine, I run the Neoprene nose piece with vents open on Goggles and no fogging issues. Bought the rose colour lenses and great for low light. The only thing that didn't work for me was the quick connects so bought the 210 single strap and took of quick connect for goggles.

This year changed out trail lense on other set and bought another strap so now have 2 back country sets. Have had zero fog issues and wear all the time.
