Chunk missing on clicker

Skidoo clutch experts, keyboard warriors, and Kanedog. What's your opinion on this missing chunk from my buddies clutch clicker on his 19 Summit 850? Small chunk missing on the bottom right of the adjuster in the pic.

not sure how or why that broke but he can change that piece out for cheap and its really easy to do.

looks like a faulty part as i dont see any impact damage around it from a foreign object hitting it

got the same thing on all 3 for my turbo.... havent really given much thought to it.
