Chinese diesel heaters for enclosed sled trailer

So mine burns about 3 litres each 24 hours in my enclosed at hunting camp. Very happy with it heating a 20 foot enclosed trailer. .

Just finishing the insulation. Waiting for a few more parts to arrive to figure out the layout of the trailer. Cabinet, windows, etc. I bought a couple of used cargo doors from used rv place and re-skinned them to match exterior. Coming along.

Almost done the insulating of the walls and ceiling. Used rigid insulation for all flat areas and durofoam for the curves.

Hooked it up in the shop for a dry run.
Going to let it run all night to see how it does and to make sure it doesn’t puke diesel all over. So far, pretty impressed with it.

Pretty sure diesel will be cheaper

Well almost done my enclosed project. Just need to mount the benches and drink holders as well as some roof exhaust vents for the moisture next days off.
My god do these little bastards throw heat. Went with heat rated furnace pipe as pvc was not good enough ha.

Tons. I put a booster fan in at the beginning of the bottom run. Actually have a plug in the end to force more air up to sled gear.

Hey fatguy, I have a couple of questions. As the aluminum skin is already acting like a vapour barrier, why install another one? Did you try installing abs prior to pvc, I see many others using abs in their install?

The ribs on my trailer weren’t exactly square. Almost like a T making it hard to snuggly fit the graphite board in under the lips. So spots had gaps along the steel ribs. Last had to chop a bunch of 1 inch strips to fill center of ribs. I figured cold air would get in along them. For the cheap cost of vapor barrier and tuck tape I assumed it would be extra defense between wind and heat loss. Kinda like insulting a house. Also ran it so if water got in the roof part it will run down in the walls where the graphite board is and down instead of running along the wood paneling.

The first pipe I had was sewer pipe. I tested it above the door part and it was like a saggy dong within a half hour on full tilt. So opted to grab the thick wall furnace pipe. Actually way happier with that is it fit the strapping, booster fan and flex pipe way better then the other.

I also feel like a guy could smash a sled or quad into this pipe if it was frozen and it would hold up way better instead of shattering or cracking.

No I added a secondary fuel pump on top of cabinets just for filling the unit. So I don’t have to Fawk around filling up high. Wired a switch in cabinet. It’s the coiled up yellow handle valve kinda behind the heater
