Where did you buy the cabinet? What size fuel tank did you get to fit inside? Do you have a picture of cabinet open to see inside?

Here’s a pic with the cover off. All the same components as without a cabinet but just finished a little nicer. That’s all the fuel I’ve burned running it for 6 hrs wide open so maybe closer to 2 litres than just the 1 I said earlier.

Would these diesel heaters come in comparable heat output?

Have a 27' enclosed car hauler with 7 ' ceiling. Fully insulated floor,ceiling,walls.

The propane is nice. My father has one in his trailer. I wrench on it more tho. The diesel heater is nice cause it’s compact. Not a fan of how the CargoWest trailer is wired. The longest I’ve run one is 18 hrs straight on low. One battery. No charger. Pretty impressive. They sip the diesel. My boat heater came with a remote too. I’ve started it from 60’.

Thing is they work just as good or better then the name brands. My webasto never works properly.

One of the biggest problems with the diesel heater is we’re the fuel pick-up is installed.

Air intake and exhaust for the burner are outside.

Kerosene burns cleaner than diesel. It is pricier too.

Got a buddy that sells them, he has a two place trailer and the dam thing heats so much better than propane and use such little diesel, be in my next trailer

This all depends on where you put your exhaust and fresh air. You also have to take into account your fuel tank. Most people do not use the supplied tank that comes with the system. Your stinger or fuel pick-up play a big part in your heater not locking out.

Every week we run ours from Calgary to revy and back we run it for 2-3 days straight and drive with it running always

I just installed one in mine, fortunately it’s working well but if it ever does blow up the heater is the same size as an Espar or Webasto so it should fit in the cabinet. I’m thinking a lot of parts may be interchangeable between all of them. A buddy I worked for in Edmonton use to get all his work done at a shop just up the street from FGI. I don’t recall the business name but I’m sure any of them could help you out.

I have been looking on amazon. Do you remember the brand name and KW output.

Bought mine because I saw you got one on your trailer build thread and thought was cost effective, you already had yours before I ordered mine lol they work good FYI
