Very cool hopefully they come down in price in a little bit.

Considering what you pay for a GPS plus what you pay for a pair of 509's. Suddenly that price looks pretty good. Only problem I see is I go through a pair of gogs every 2 seasons...can't afford that!

Actually Haber Vision goggles are polarized as well. The unique thing about Haber polarization is that it is done to exactly 180 degrees. This is important because our eyes use only the light entering at that angle to create pictures. Light entering our eyes from other angles creates glare. When we knock out all the other angles of light except the ones that our eyes can actually use it creates sharper clearer images for us.

Here are a couple of screen shots of the Recon Software. The data as you can see is collected and displayed for the entire run down the mountain. As you pull the icon down the data is automatically updated.

When you wear the goggles the screen is shown as below.

ScreenShot020.jpg

You can program it with pop up displays so that if for example you exceed a certain speed a pop up display comes up on the dash board.

ScreenShot021.jpg

The picture below is of what is referred to as mountain stat's, and gives you your latitude and longitude along with temperature.

ScreenShot022.jpg

They are only releasing 300 pairs this year, and they have not come off the production line yet and yes we do have a reserve list going so if anyone whom wants a pair, feel free to drop us a pm.

That's not too bad! Not sure if they will fit in My Shoei helmet. I had a hard time fitting in the aviators. How do they compare to the size of the aviators?

The aviators and the recons have about the same width up and down the lens. The diference is in the length across the lens the recon is about 4 cm more in length the aviator is about 24 cm and the recon about 28 cm. This is to accomodate the gps system. You have to keep in mind though with this last measurement it is not a straight across but rather on a curve. Hope that helps!
