I sold the sled.

It runs good, just purrs at 100 or so k. its not bad on gas, not great, but better than I expected. Also came with Aluminum alloy rims that I'm gonna shine up for the summer time, its gonna look sweet. there is one rip in the interior but other than that its great!

Wow! I hope your not gonna crunch that car driving it on your slippery roads! Save our old cars! We'll always have old cars, old crappy cars, just not cool ones like the one you have now. You should put up some more pics of your car. Inside/outside, engine. Show it off!
I built a MGB over a few years from a rusty pile. I just get it finished and some idiot hit the back....more work for me. Here's the car during my restoration and before the hit after I painted it. I did the whole car, everything, in my garage.

once I get it all polished up and my new rims on I will throw some up dated pics up! I have a friend that does body work so I'm gonna get him to fix the little bit of rust it has and throw on either some dark metalic blue or black in the summer time! I'm so excited for this car. Got it for a steal too, traded a not running Honda CBR 600 and a rough running 86 Yamaha Virago for it straight accross!

Ohhhh, Joey boyyyy, the stock colour is beautiful. Just fix er up like it is. My opinion anyways. When you change the outer colour, you have to paint the inside doors, sills inside hood and trunk to match if you really want any respect in the old car world. That colour it has on it is pretty sweet, deep and sultry. Just sayin's all.
My old Meteor I put back on the road after the old guy creamed the back of my MG. The Meteor immediately went on blocks and I did ball joints, brakes, plus the lines and hoses. I also rebuilt a 60's 4 barrel intake and manifold for it that I found in an old guys barn. I'll do the body last...some year. I'm good at the bodywork and painting but I hate it. It never seems to end!
Here's some pics:

Excellent point! Original paint is pretty nice, I must admit! It gets looks everywhere I go and everyday someone offers to buy it haha Nice job btw! I'd love to throw a 4 barrell on it, but I fear I would like opening it up a little too much and would get like 4 mpg haha maybe one day, in the mean time it goes as fast as I need it too, I love the beautiful noise when it drops into first to pass someone.....they don't make cars like this anymore.

I only put on the 4 barrel because it's such a big car with only a 289 in it. It's just for passing. I've put 4 barrels on others over the years and most times it actually gets BETTER mileage, as long as you don't open up the other 2 barrels. On some vehicles the 1st 2 barrels(on the 4 barrel carb) are a bit smaller than the diameter holes on the stock 2 barrels carbs, soooo it you just want to cruise around it's ok. When you need the power it's nice to have! The Meteor really isn't much faster but it revs out now nicely. I love my old cars, and most old stuff.
