changing handlebar riser, 13 xm

Went to put an adjustable riser on the sled and seen everything runs up the riser. I didn't have time to start looking into it so I slapped the pad back on and rode it the way it was. Just curious if there are connectors under the hood to unplug, or do I have to dismantle the left handlebar controls? Throttle side doesn't look to be an issue.

Wires unplug under hood. Throttle comes apart by thumb.

If you put the riser handle facing forward, it can get caught on the brake line.

Travis, it is about a 6 beer job. I put an RSI on my '14 and it was easy-peasy. Unhooking the throttle cable was the only pissy part.
