Catmando 2024 Bike Rides and Pics.

I hear all the crotch rockets around town tonight. When you hear him pick up second gear and he's on the pipe you know damn well he's not doing 50 kmph.

I dug both bikes out of the shed today, unhooked the battery tenders and took them for a lap around the yard. Now the forecast says rain tomorrow afternoon and snow in the evening. Le sigh.

I couldn’t wait for mother nature to wash the streets. Yesterday was so damn nice. I had to go get a tank full of premium and blow the old gas out of the carbs lol. Just did a quick 20K cruise around Fort Macleod and put it away happy

I got my bike ready and it got cold and windy. Waiting until its 15 degrees consistently.

My wife and I are in Hualtuco Mexico. Rent some bikes tomorrow we’re gonna rip ch!t up here where the only danger is other drivers and coconuts falling lol

The windsheild I went with was the Sport for streetglide 14-21 . I went with smoke and would have rather went a couple shades darker but very happy with it so far. Added a recurve and vent, went with wide as possible. Height is perfect . If you zoom in you will see it almost looks to wide , works good overall, would buy another one in a second. Read there reviews, I’m not the only one that likes them. Next one I will order and ride down and pick it up.

Went out for a ride yesterday. First one since I did loads of work to the bike. New chain and sprockets, Healtech ThunderBox, ReSprung Front Forks, Givi Skid Plate, Carplay display, Ecu flash and Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tires. Bike rode phenomenal. More power with near the same fuel economy. Going to go refuel today or tomorrow and check fuel mileage. Only had one issue leaving town, TC light was going off like mad. Figured out I still had the TC in mode 2. Which is the most intrusive. Bike easily power wheelies in first gear now with the reflash and low end fueling is perfect now. Can't wait to get out for more rides.

Bought some bikes in Maui, had a great time riding all over the place once we used green slim tubes. 6 months after we got home we got a letter in the mail saying we abandoned the bikes and would be charged. So back to maui to deal with our F-up.

You just abandoned your bikes in another country…motor or peddle. Why?

I left them at the resort for everyone to use and enjoy, they were peddle bikes. In hindsite i would have bought them for local and borrow them for the week.

Went for a nice rip this afternoon in the smoke. We had some chatter on a different thread about Sangudo. I can confirm there is still some gravel roads in the town of sangudo.

Well my bad, havnt done much riding this year, just serviced the bike and plan a Sunday ride tomorrow.time to start puttin in the miles. First trip to bc end of June to a pig roast / party . Anybody want to join tomoro let me know!

Favourite ride ever was the Crowsnest hwy on a RC51. I made amazing time.
