Catarract/Etherington/Fording pass conditions 2010/2011

now that makes sense, gate is usually closed for a reason, some people just can't comprehend that concept i guess, and wonder why riding area's are closed down.

YES the gate is closed for a reason. So idiots dont drive there trucks in there and down the Fing trails when there is 2 inches of snow ..If you go around this gate with your sled its not going to close down an area.This is off the staging area parking lot....

Talked to a ranger that was in our shop yesturday about the gate closures and that's exactly what he said.Gates are closed until there is enough snow that trucks and quads,anything with tires, cannot access the trails.They had trouble with this earlier this year he said.Also told me that they are giving
snow condition update for Sibbald area this year on their web site.

they are easy to go around or under as the case may be....

The first two are.....but the last one would be no fun for a young person or the less adventurous

many miles of trails and other terrain there....no problem for a shorty

I was out today with my kids and it looked like we were the only ones out there. All the trails got a coat of new snow with the south trails getting about 6" of new snow and still snowing. The wind blew all day and started to drift some trails over and some trail were wind blown to the rocks. The trails were 100% better then two weeks ago. Pictures are of Fallers trail

Yes thanks again for the help Bunn. I guess the new to me 700 needs more heat in the cylinders then my 800. Did a four corner seize on the pto piston. One new cylinder because it was cracked and two pistons the thing runs great. How did your brother's work?

Your welcome Hirmkin,glad to here it's back up and runing.My brothers sled ran great,he was really happy with it.We put on 122km on that day.How does your son like the 700?

Hey there Gascan. Thanks For Rubbing That In.LOL.I would trade ridding over the work your doing to your car any day.Wish i could do some of that work to my car......Cant wait to see it.I know its going to be sick.Well get out for a ride one of these days cheers.
