You will have more fun at Fernie then over Fording.But its still fun back there.

Knee deep in it,bdietz,his son and myself went over fording today.There was about 1 inch of fresh in parking lot, maybe 4 in the back.We had a great day out there.Temps warmed up above 0 in the afternoon. Nice clear day.

Was nice to ride with and meet you guys.Hope to go again some time.

Hope the injured rider is ok at Etherington.

Did you guys get out this week? Any comment on the snow pack, is it melting fast?

I'm looking to head out this weekend, but wonder if the trails will be half dirt?

Charette_Syndrome and myself went out yesterday.We staged out of Cataract staging area.We did around 120 km. Lots of trails and hit some cut blocks and nice untouched meadows/tree riding.We found close to 3 feet in the trees and meadows. Was not to bad. Trails are still covered. Only dirt spot we found was on the logging road heading west out of cataract .Trails are hard as rock in the morning and nice wet sloppy in the afternoon. We had a pretty good day.It snowed off and on yesterday.Looks like it snow most of the day towards fording......Snow is melting pretty hard.

They are calling for 15-20cm on weather network for Sat. let it dump.

Was fun riding with ya Charette_Syndrome. Hope to go exploring with you again sometime.Cheers

The snow there looks pretty nice still. one of the best years in a while for Cataract. And there are some cut blocks that you can ride in without destroying the sled

Great pictures Randy...thanks for sharing those. Looks like a great ride and I'll bet the weekend is going to be awesome. Their calling for 30+ centimeters for the regions Saturday and the wind should help drift it nicely along skyline. Betcha there'll be 4-5 feet of fresh at the top.
