maybe all you know-it-alls should do some research.....yah, its not a mountain sled in that pic...short track...so of course its a POS to most of the people on this fine website....that's why it looks so small...I think?

here's a quick but good article on what's happening with Cat. Larger engine for 2025. Too late for many in this part of the world, yah maybe....but I doubt that Cat is going out of business like many on here seem to suggest.

Ive been holding out to get a second sled to give the Sidewinder some company. Was hoping Cat would offer something but looking like they are dropping the ball again this season. After spending 3 days on a turbo 154 Doo this past weekend I think it was the right amount of DoolAid for team change.

Maybe if i had a teenager i would.

how bout you?

That’s the market for a 600. They will sell in that market because there aren’t any used 600’s available.

I watched for 6 months and then drove 1200 km round trip in a day to get the 600 I did find back in July for my 12 year old.

But I’m not gonna buy a cat any time soon due to lack of dealers, and the cat dealers that are around have no parts.

Any part I have needed for our cat zr200 I have had to buy from yamaha or sit out the rest of the season.

It’s crazy that Cat is so behind the 8 ball on the big bore power plant in comparison to the 850 turbos and the 900. They never use to be the company that lacked in that department.

I think they need 2 big bore options. A 850 turbo or supercharger to match the others and a over 900 N/A, ideally a 1000 in the 200hp range.

My 800 was faster than the 2 9r we rode with on the weekend.

They also never used to be owned by Textron. Signed a deal with the devil I’d say…

I was thinking that too.

Do they even have a 800 for next season in the new chassis?

Maybe they'll surprise us with the spring release with something with some more HP

There was a 9R in our group for the last 2 days and everone that rode it was very underwhelmed. Maybe after break it gets all this power all the Polaris influencers brag about....

At this point they should show their cards and say "look, this is what we have been working on, and we need another year...."

At least give the guys something to look forward to

I'm wondering if they will still sell the older chassis as a 2024 with the 800? as well as the Catalyst?
