Definiteky put something close to the clutch to destroy belts;) the lightweight hood is supposed to really help with weight and help it feel more like the newer models from what I hear haven't had much opportunity on all three but like the 12 I tried last season, still going xm unless the 14 really sways me, anything to cut weight will improve the handling though

Put the narrow front end on (2013)and drop the front of the skid to the same location as the 2014. I would do a torsional clutch set up on the secondary once u get the clutching updates done. Krazy ken on here couldnt sell his 2012 so he did all that and is loving the results.

Just put a 2.6 powerclaw on my 2010 m8 (different sled I know) but it made a really noticeable difference. I'm pretty happy with it. Track swap gets my vote!!

Some great points.
I would change out the track to the 2.6 PC (I think its the best track on the market for the type of riding we do). Then move the skid to the 13 or to the 14 location, and let the limiter out and run the back as soft as you can without it sagging. Soften up the front end. Then do a 20 tooth gear and the clutch updates. That would be a good place to start from. Then I would start adjusting suspension to my liking.

Drop the skid to 2013 setup (easiest and cheapest probably)
new track either camo 2.5 or 2.6 PC
i would gear the sled down to either 20/49 or 19/50
narrow front end.
Thats probably about as close as you could get to it.

I'd go with the '13 skid position properly set up for the rider's preference of course....... sort of (I have a couple extra holes in my rails now as well), a set of SLP PP's, the new secondary and some proven clutching.;)

My list would be this, keeping it close to stock as possible:
2.5" camo extreme or 2.6" powerclaw
19/50 HYVO chain/gear set
jaws can
38" bdx or cat front end
wildchild steering bushings
skinz airframes
carbon wrap the tunnel for snow buildup
2014 tank, and either skinz or wrp seat
CHANGE SKIS
Rasmussen steering fix
reaper motorsports headlight delete or carbontj headlight delete

probably a bit more then what you'd have to do but if I were to ride stock again that's the first things I'd do.

thats after you spend the first 1000$ fixing the clutch issues hahaha
