How did I forget the can. You absolutely need a can. That factory boat anchor/muffler, thing, that is approximately as heavy as a Nytro needs to go.

Momma, I would relocate the skid with Zbroz kit ($50), 38" A-arm kit from cat, gear to 20/49 from 21/49, install a better track (2.6 or 2.5 CE), different primary & secondary spring (PM me for details). I actually bought Mark's 2013 demo, and it is setup very well. Skis are a personal preference - the 800 works ok with even the stockers, but handling is much better with various other skis - depends on what you prefer as far as feel / ski pressure, etc.

38" front end with the shock spacers on coil overs. Gear down, align gears, retorque and lock after first ride.. Tied secondary. 049 belt. Make sure the vent works on the oil jug and the warning sticker is in place. Make sure the coolant hose has been replaced. Install snow defector on the brake disc. Seal the plastic as best you can then do it again after you find the rest of the holes. Concentrate on sealing the air box at the nose and the clutch area (make friends with your speed nut supplier). Get the front to turn tighter any way you want and get rid of the adjustable bars. Make a place to put the spare belt (or two). Change to coil over rear (185lb spring for you), drop the rear mount to the lower hole, leave front mount in stock location but move lower front shock mount forward 5/8" and take limiter strap out to '11 length.

That's a start. Now the easy stuff like losing the can etc. to drop some weight and carry a snow removing mallet for the cold days.

Oh,,, and forget your last sled as soon as you can. IMO you could not have picked a bigger project sled to prep for the mountains but it can be done (even if it is free). Good luck.

HOLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEy moley!! wicked!! Yup it'll be some work, but exciting at the same time. It's a stretch for me, and a test for sure. Normally, working with a sled Esthetics and simple stuff like a can were all I'd really focus on. A new Challenge has been put before me function agility and performance within a budget are what I'm going after, .. You guys have no idea how thankful I am for your insight.

Now I'm going to go decipher what you wrote! Holy Frackers I'm learning a lot this season already! Thank you!
