Other than they sack out and break.Lol Same a doos race sled.
There is nothing wrong with torsion springs, there is more adjustability than a coil over or air shock.

Extra weight...........
Nothing at all wrong with them... if you wanna bash tables and bank corners and ride around in a circle with 10 of your closest buddies they are the tits.... other than that they are about useful as the wobble clutch.I guess doo needs something to hold that rear skid on the g4 from sagging out to the ground once those fisher price shocks **** the bed
You will not see major or adequate/correct change from BRP until their 4 year cycle is up.
You only get band aids to make it better.
We are on layer 3 and sled is now almost as good as it should have been on year one.
Live with it.
That's all you are getting.
And it's actually not that bad.
Too bad they don't put the right ones in from factory....That's just cause they put light ones on from factory, heavy ones don't sack out or break

Lol, I guess guys need to start looking into other options than or stick to stock and ride it.
Seems interesting that I put MXZ rear torsion springs on my G4 summit. Way More to my setup than that, but there is way more adjustment to torsion springs over a coil over.
Biggest thing I found with torsion spring delete kits is they are rough as Hell on the trail
Holy hell you guys really need to give that nextech kit a try. That rear shock was buttery smooth and really helped keep the skis down.Lol, I guess guys need to start looking into other options than or stick to stock and ride it.

Biggest thing I found with torsion spring delete kits is they are rough as Hell on the trail and I noticed no improvement to the skids performance unless the geometry was changed with it.

Did you just do fat boys or the titanium ones?Never tried that kit, but the setup I have works mint.

It's just the rear shock.Im not sure what kit your referring to, but Ive been down that full suspension road before. Im sure the kit your referring to is nice, and also pricey. As I mentioned about different suspension geometry in my previous post, it helped but I was never really satisfied with the harshness of the trail ride out, especially when riding in a area that does not have groomed trails.
I spent time talking to the industry pros about this very subject of the torsion springs. Im no means a suspension pro, but my findings are inline with their discussions, explanations and experience.
You may be surprised with the stock suspension, when yah get properly valved and sprung shocks front and rear in it, especially with a turbo under the hood.
