Found out some interesting information about Canada Post.
They obviously have a Monopoly on letter carrying but it's actually a law that they are the only operation allowed to do this, the law also states they must deliver mail to every address in Canada 5 days a week. Cp executives want this law removed.
They used to make huge profits but can't figure out how to compete now.

They currently charge $1.15 for a stamp. For a roughly 3 day service. A courier is roughtly $14 for same thing and are next day service. Canada post needs to re-structure with new management than can steer the corporation into this century. They need more reasonable pay checks then maybe charge a bit more. If people don’t like it they can use alternative services and Canada post can can fade away into the wind like the big department stores did.

I payed $26.10 to send a cheque Xpress post for payment to my benefits center so that my benifits aren't cancelled. They said that it will be there in Two days. This was Nov. 12th. I check the tracking number because I'm getting e-mail notices from my Benefits center And it looks like it is hung up in Edmonton.

Werte the F)(*ers were on strike before the official strike date?

Good point. Canada Post is the cheapest shipping and also the cheapest brokerage fees. Try running a parcel in from the states with Fedex or Purolator. Without getting into all the union issues, CP would be missed by many if they just disappeared. $14 every time you needed to send a letter? Need that one-off small cheap item made in China, like a decal that is worth $15? Well, it takes 20 days to get it, but it comes over for $15, shipping all in. If you use whatever courier, that cost is now $50.

Two weeks ago cost me $1100 to renew my license. All photo Gaydar
Thought photo radar doesn't hit your license as they don't know who is driving. Only goes to the registered owner.

The demerit points don’t go on the license. But the money does. Dam Harley. It was all photos of me on the bike. Not one was a driving a vehicle.
