When you go 174" drop me an email because if you have a 163" skid and track I'll buy them off of ya.

By the sounds of things you would probably come out ahead to Sell your 2012 and buy a 2013 and throw the 174x3 on it, as it sounds like you dont need the Avid Chaincase.

Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

Loose the money selling the 2012 or spend less to 174 the 13 pro eather way works out the same.

What about if you went with a 174 X 2.5? Would you still need a drop and roll, with extended chain case, or just change out the drivers, get a tunnel extension and proper skid?

The proper way is to run the Avid chaincase with the 162 or 174 x 3" track, you're not going to get around doing it properly without it!!! Now i have heard that Mountain Magic in Edmonton is doing a 174 x 2.5" moving the stock 163" suspension back and smaller drivers with good results. You may want to call them if you're on a small budget and looking for a cheaper alternative. Otherwise call Avid they're having a spring special on their stuff.

based on Chrisco's post earlier, I would presume you need everything except the items for extending the rails and tunnel.......so basically - a 163 camo, avid chaincase, avid drivers, anti stab wheel kit, 80 link chain, 19 top gear 43 to 46 bottom gear, case gard, and some cash.
