Camping/Quadding right by the water (lake) - crown land

Hey everyone

Looking for a place where we can camp (with our holiday trailer) and quads within a cpl hours of edmonton on crown land?

Would be nice to quad n stuff and have the kids go play in the water within sight from the campfire.

Any suggestions? Ive heard the Brazeau Dam is nice area, but lots of thefts. Any other suggestions?
