Camping/Quadding around the Edson/Hinton area?

Like the title states, where are some decent riding areas and camping spots around Edson and Hinton? My gf and I want to go out for a weekend in August and we're not totally sure where to go.

Any ideas?

Keep your eyes open for anything to do with the Macann's in that area, it would be nice to help the family out !

Go to the provincial building in edson go to the SRD office on the second floor and ask for the parks and trail maps for quadding they give plenty of trails to go on. There is a trail that goes from Hinton to Greggs cabin south of hinton the trail is about 26 km long. There is also trails at brule in addition to the sand dunes. North there is a lake and campground called Petitte lake that you can drive right out with your quad from the campground. I highly recommend that you get the trail maps. You can also go to the SRD office in Hinton. Hope this helps.
