Camp fire music

So is it just me or is camping with beers and loud music the best way to spend a summers evening. Just checked on my toy hauler and then remembered the sound system I put in it. 2-15 inch rockford subs. 2-12 inch Rockford subs. 5 sets of seperates 6-1/2 mids with tweeters Those are all for outside enjoyment One 10inch sub and full surround sound Inside. Also another set of separates in the garage. 4000 watts of camping enjoyment. Of course I free camp. No provincial parks for this camper. Anyways Am i alone or have anyone else got carried away with sound in the trailers/campers or motor homes. Must admit. 4 more sled trips booked then I think I'm ready to bring on summer

Yup, that works. But since my musical talent is limited to turning on a stereo, I'll keep using my Sirius boombox tuned to Prime Country at a respectable sound level.:d

I guess if you have no friends who's company you enjoy, you can always get carried away with your "loud music" and destroy the peace and tranquility that the rest of us seek when we go camping.

Dude I'm all about stereos but that is some serious overkill. Gotta be able to hear the conversation around the fire, the tunes are just background noise and keep the mood going. Even at a serious bush party a pair of 6x9's and a 12" sub are usually enough...

I'm not saying it's cranked all night. But if the shooters and George strait come at the same time. It's loud enough to satisfy all. Two steppin and break dancin is always a option

Yeah let us know where and when you willbe out and we will head the other way. Most of us go out for the peace and quiet, get away from the noise of everyday life, enjoy what mother nature has to offer. I don't even like ANY music when I am camping, would rather listen to the bs talk and laughter around the fire after a day of riding, not music.

I am all with Rubirose !!!!
The reason I go campin is to enjoy nature AND IT'S SOUNDS !!! I get enought noise and music in everyday life but when I go campin I just want to un-wind and enjoy the birds tweeting , listening to the stream flowing and hear the wind in the trees !!!! Theres a time and a place for everything but pounding music when campin isn't something I enjoy (or being around ones that do that)!!

Wow what a bunch of buzz kills when it comes to quality tunes. Just cause a system is big doesn't mean it needs to be cranked. It's all about the quality, better than someones old audiovox belting out a tune on blown speakers.

Wow. Buzz kill is right. When it come to pipes. Sound. Power. Mud tires or creek splashing this is never the place to talk about it. And it is super quality sound. I camp with some 50 yr olds and if play the right music it keeps them up all night. Anyways I didn't want to start a loud debate. Just asking if anyone else has a system in there trailer. I know mine is the first one ever done at jb's power center.

I think the problem people have with this is that it is an outdoor system, inflicting your choice of music on everyone within a 5 mile radius, when YOU want to listen to it. There is no way that a guy spends over 5k on "quality" sound and doesn't have it cranked. If you wanted some campfire music, a small portable radio would fill the need just fine. Otherwise, you could use the trailer to supply tunes for highschool grad parties, and other such events. At least they would appreciate the system!

I said free camping. As in no fawkin complainers near by. Middle of no where type ch!t. . So I guess I'm the only one to spend 20 k on a stereo for the trailer. Did t really plan on it. It came with decent tunes but once man starts to mod sOmething plans go out the window

Lol that's what the tunes r for. Drown out them nasty generators. Atleast with the inverter gens u don't have to turn the tunes up as much anymore.
