ALso how do most of u guys attach it to your helmet as i do use google but not all the time as they are tinted and suck to use if its really shadowy out. or do u guys not recomend this camera at all

Depends which battery you have. The standard battery is usually good for about 45 minutes to an hour depending on temperature. You can get a long life battery for it as well. The mount system is the strong point for this camera. I have both a Contour and a Drift. I prefer the Drift for video quality, and the little monitor on it to watch recorded video as well as change your contrast settings on the mountain, and the ability to connect it directly to your TV to playback video. You have to do all that with your computer with the Contour. I prefer the mount system on the Contour though. The Drift just seems like a cheezy little piece of plastic for the mount, and is difficult to get locked and can fill up with snow. They both come with a goggle strap mount, and also one you can stick on your helmet so you should be good to go. Both good cameras, but I prefer the Drift.

The first Hd version....HD170 I think....the orange one. Buddies son has the new model. Works just as good and it's a bit smaller too.

I just recently got a contour gps, and yesterday was my first day with it. The gps feature is awesome. The battery lasted me all day but I bring along a spare just incase. With the contour if you have a android phone you can connect the camera to your android through Bluetooth and you can see what your camera sees, check your battery life, see how much free space is on the memory card, and change your recording settings (like what quality of video you want to record and stuff like that). If you have a iPhone though you have to buy a little card thing that slips into the contour in order to Bluetooth it to your phone. It's like 30 bucks or something.

It's an awesome camera I love it.
