buying a quad

ive just moved from the city up northern bc and want to buy a quad, i cant decide between the canam 800 outlander or the yamaha 700 grizzley. i liked the canam for its twin cylinder smoothness but i think the yamaha has a better drive train, with diff lock, no U joints, power steering and clutch that doesent rely on the belt as much.ive also heard the can am frame is weak.
i need your input

hi walt,i have both quads...both good units...depends on your priority's which one is best for you....700 grizzly ps is the best.it rides light,feels light,goes most anywhere...but...after riding an 800 outlander,it feels like it is underpowered(i am probably used to the big power of the 800).the outy is great but it is a litle heavy and water intake to the cvt can be a problem.i have heard of frame issues on multiple forums,but i personally have never seen one with frame issues.

I agree...both good machines. I have the Can-Am and Love it....Also looking at a Grizzly for my Wife. Single seater I assume you are looking for...

I think you'd be happy with either one...try them on for fit...

Both the wife and I ride the Grizzly and so far no issues.

Have had the outty for last three yrs. All have worked well. Liked the warranty as well.
