New brutes are great at HP + Light weight.

So many big hp machines with big weight to match them atm.

I would rather light and fast than heavy and fast anyday.

Not saying i like slow bikes. but its a give and take for sure.

Ill add in to the mix in saying that at the end of the day I am not beat up riding my outlander max vs other quads out there. Jump on almost anything else and it is a workout vs the outy max.

Or to really fawk you up maybe you should look at one of the big bore sxs' like the rzr1000, wildcat 1000 or mavericks. I have more fun in mine then the quad and maybe even more fun then my Ktm.

Im not looking for a big h/p quad. Have My kx250 for jumps and wheelies and stuff. Want this to take my boy fishing in a back woods lake. Plow the driveway, ride with the boys etc.

Look at a grizzly for that type of riding. If your not looking for Vtwin power they are lighter and I find just as much fun. I came off a 2013 can am outlander 800xtp and it was way too heavy now I ride 2015 grizzly and i am way happier.

are far as motors go ... the brute has a decent motor... its a V twin like can am and has big potenial when modded.... but as far as the rest of the machine goes... im sorry but comparing it to a can am is not even in the ball park... day and night difference ... 11 years now with can am i would not change for nothing .... and if i changed it would be a scrambler for sure... belive me you get used to that big hp very soon and then no one will be able to rub that smile off your face... lol

You mentioned that the brut force had crappy suspention, tires, and gas milage. If you belive this, then don't buy one as you will end up disapointed.

Who do you us as your main power sports suppler for all your service and dealings ?

being a auto mechanic I do all my own work. i use argyll for my sled parts and echo for my KX and ZX6. I wanted a really low km used quad. Looking at the 2014 650/800 can am Xt my self. Dirt tracks on youtube seem to love the new g2 can am. But that's why I here to see if I'm going to make a good choice or should I look at the brute. I would like to stick with a twin because I do like power just don't need tons of it on a utility quad.
