Built a kindling chopper today.

Bought one of those online. Best investment for camping you can have. Just love it

Nice ! Ive always wanted to make one of these. The one I seen was the other way, the blade moved up and down the guide post, but same difference.

Looks like a RTJ gasket for the Loop??

Borrowed one from brother in-law, loved it so I bought one.
Brother borrowed mine, love it and bought one for himself.

The make 2 sizes. The large one is a 9” ring for splitting logs and the smaller one is for kindling. Mine is more in the middle. Made mine a little taller and it works great. The Milwaukee hammer hits pretty hard but I am going to look for a small sledge style hammer.

Bought the 169.99 one but paid 149 when we bought it. It’s heavy duty and I just use the blunt end of my axe to split logs with it. It’s amazing how little effort it takes to split with this item

They sell those Kindling Cracker's at Peavy Mart. The large one is on sale for $110 now. Unfortunately it is out of stock.

That's the one "Kindling Cracker"...paid a hundred for it a few years ago.
Didn't realize they made two sizes.

Building a new swing for the wife...mostly angle iron and cedar with stainless hardware.
It's being powder coated now. Has an adjustable/removable foot rest.
Drink holder will hold a coffee mug, beer can/bottle, wine glass and her phone.

LOL, You might think that but no. The one I built her fifteen years ago was pressure treated lumber and is rotten...can't have the ol' doll fallin' on her ass.

Just finished this dinning table for our new home. Once again I used only zip cuts to cut all the metal. I have over 100 hours into this table but I’m happy with the way it turned out. Used 2” solid black walnut with a natural finish.

Considering I just seen a “designer” stool that was by all appearance a piece of 6x6 wood selling for 1K, that table could be sold for 15 or 20K.

Wicked job on that beauty!
