After some spring riding in BC this past week I’d be in the market for a linq designed bottomless aluminum box for storing snow to keep tunnel cooler cool on my Doo turbo. Just enough clearance to not scratch the tunnel but high enough to hold some packed snow in to get to the alpine. Any welding fabricator inventors out there that are up for the task? I think there would be a market.

Yep that would be good for a lot of sleds.

Buddy in pemberton built one for his Polaris out of wood. Looks pretty getto but gets the job done

Most of the different projects I’ve built over the years
A road boss clone for my own use in driveway and bin yards
Custom front bumper for the pro
Hitch on a guys packer and capped the drum so vibrator works still ( added hyd wheels for transport since)
Weight frame for semi put 3 cement blocks on for towing air drills. Also did a heavy duty hitch on truck
Bale fork frame with built in sleeves to convert to pallet fork set up. - getting hyd adjust when I get to it.
Zoom boom basket for brothers lift. 5x12
5 gal pail carrier- brother buys a lot of paint from sherwin Williams. Guys treat him great anyway got talking about this thing they are like $400 to buy so I built another one for them
Chem handler on tandem. Had the extra valve still from drill fills so made it go up and down via hyd. Made it much nicer for filling

Currently finishing up a fuel trailer skid that ties down vs permanent mount
And start on step deck water tender trailer build

This is my shop equipment I built. 60 ton break, added a hydraulic ram to my tubing bender, made a base for my lathe so I could level it, geared down my bandsaw to cut steel so had to make a cover for the larger pullies, my Tig cart, the start of my welding table, and I converted my drill press into a milling machine.(but that could be a thread all on its own)

Nice job BB4
Another individual obviously into the metal works.

You and Kovs have built some very cool projects... above my talent.
I'm a backyard self taught welder/fabricator with zero schooling. One day I'd like to try Tig welding.

Ken, you should see what Jim came up with. A milk crate filled with snow and then inverted on the tunnel. Now if he could only make some loops in there to hold the beer cans.

My son got the hatchet throwing bug. So googled some designs and cut this one out freehand. Used 1/4” stainless. Works pretty decent. Next one will spend a bit more time on making it nicer, had no idea if this would even work.
