I should really take more pictures, but after 24 years of welding I guess I don’t think of it now. I don’t ever build neat things like those tanks or bikes my brain doesn’t work like that. But can build pretty much anything if out of steel. Mostly only have pictures of impellers that I’ve been rebuilding last couple of years. A couple of tops and a geo cache container I built for my nephews.

Awesome thread and awesome work guys. Back when I used to teach metal work in Industrial Arts the students would do a lot of neat stuff with the lathes and welders but I don't have any pictures after a few computer burn downs through the years.

Neil, what's going on with the beautiful blue "wall hanging"? That's very interesting!

It’s a plaque for my euro deer mount. It didn’t turn out like I hoped. I put epoxy in there and mixed in shell casings from my rifle, they’re federal premium so they are a shiny silver colour. I hoped they’d show up through the epoxy but the don’t. I don’t have a finished picture lol

Love the gates and table!
...posts, painted concrete?
How much does the coffee table weigh?

Poured a piling and then formed a 2’x2’ post to hold the concrete panels. Then acid stained and clear coat sealer. The coffee table isn’t too bad. The legs get bolted on from underneath for moving.

Few parts I built years ago when I worked at a custom automotive shop.
