The reliabilty is the main issue, PEEPS are not buying Doo junk anymore...........
BRP snowchecks is over tomorrowFellow I buy from told me his number is 216. That's just one dealer. No wonder all I see is ski doo around here.
I think the main issue is these units are not worth 25k….The reliabilty is the main issue, PEEPS are not buying Doo junk anymore...........
If Doo is junk what the hell do you call the other crap that is 10 times worse. The reliabilty is the main issue, PEEPS are not buying Doo junk anymore...........
Lots of dealer stock with good warranty on premium sleds like experts.
That ad looks like a firesale and getting out of it.
I know of a 2024 154 expert that was just sold with 200km and warranty till 2026 for under 18k. I was hours to late finding out about it, on that firesale deal.

I was blown away when I did my year end. My sales through my business last year were bang on the last few years. But yet last year I definitely felt the pinch. Still did good. But the kind of good money that was awesome in 2010. LolThe comments are all comical….
Why is sales down… gee it’s called the economy!!!! Has nothing to do with warranty, or the best built sled, who’s got the most power, bla bla bla.
With gas at all time high, food, trucks, gear, sled passes, oil, hotel costs, etc. All these things add up and it cost 30-35% more for a day trip.
Thats all true but the main reason I am not getting another one is I have 4 sitting in my garage. Just not good at selling stuff and running out of room. The comments are all comical….

36 858 Cat snow checks at a local dealer .My buddy who owns a big BRP dealership in BC that I was just riding with this past weekend said he has heard only 50 sleds province wide have been snowchecked.
I agree 100%. the 2.9 inflation rate has been a lie for many years. Since covid everytime I go to any grocery store I see the prices are increased. Something precovid was 4.99 is now 9.89. It's all catching up to alot of folks, especially if they have a morgage paymentsMy local dealer snow checked 110 sleds last year, its crickets this year and has 2024 850 n/a’s with shot for 16500 and 3 year warenty sittin on the showroom floor, also the price increases have been insane on sleds covids over cant play the supply and demand game no more, and people are strapped by shitty political policies and taxing canadians to death its going to be a bumpy road for alota of canadians next couple years inflation 2.9 my ass
At close to 10 g for a motor and turbo on a doo if u cant do the work yourself, i dont blame people for being scared to not have warrentyNot many young people getting into the sport anymore either, just to expensive. Even decent gear with avy pack your going to spend 2500bucks. Also it seems a lot of people can't afford to have a sled off of warranty. If you take a 2-3yr depreciation loss to trade up to always have a sled on warranty that is expensive. And there is always the fact that nobody wants a used turbo 2-stroke snowmobile.
Not sure why people are not willing to replace an engine themselves. Seems to be a simple task if you can hold a tool in your hand and read a manual. Replacement engines are available and isn't that part of two stroke ownership. At close to 10 g for a motor and turbo on a doo if u cant do the work yourself, i dont blame people for being scared to not have warrenty
Other powersports products don't depreciate nearly a bad a snowmobile does the first couple of years. I know if I was on a budget I would never buy a sled, a SxS or atv would be the better buy, more of a 4 season unit.your all overthinking this. Its not the pricing or inflation. Every other powersports division is selling lots of product
This has been 2 ch*t snow years in a row. That's all there is to it.

I used to buy a new sled every 3 years when units were 15-16k. Now reduced warranty,10k more? Forget that, I’ve got a great sled right now why would I spend 10k extra for a larger LCD screen?
