I think the main issue is these units are not worth 25k….

I used to buy a new sled every 3 years when units were 15-16k. Now reduced warranty,10k more? Forget that, I’ve got a great sled right now why would I spend 10k extra for a larger LCD screen?

Lots of dealer stock with good warranty on premium sleds like experts.
That ad looks like a firesale and getting out of it.

I know of a 2024 154 expert that was just sold with 200km and warranty till 2026 for under 18k. I was hours to late finding out about it, on that firesale deal.

The brand new one with no km is tempting. Hearing this deal tho he’d have to come to my 20k price. Then I’d part with my cash sell mine in fall for hopefully 7 lol

The comments are all comical….

Why is sales down… gee it’s called the economy!!!! Has nothing to do with warranty, or the best built sled, who’s got the most power, bla bla bla.

With gas at all time high, food, trucks, gear, sled passes, oil, hotel costs, etc. All these things add up and it cost 30-35% more for a day trip.

I was blown away when I did my year end. My sales through my business last year were bang on the last few years. But yet last year I definitely felt the pinch. Still did good. But the kind of good money that was awesome in 2010. Lol
Having my mortgage double didn’t help

Thats all true but the main reason I am not getting another one is I have 4 sitting in my garage. Just not good at selling stuff and running out of room.

It’s just good ole economics. The laws of supply and command. lol. Doesn’t mean doo should be an escape goat just because they can’t sell the greatest thing since sliced chicken chips.

F*ck off. I got work to do.

I agree 100%. the 2.9 inflation rate has been a lie for many years. Since covid everytime I go to any grocery store I see the prices are increased. Something precovid was 4.99 is now 9.89. It's all catching up to alot of folks, especially if they have a morgage payments

It’s nuts. Stopped at a local A&W for a burger and a small root beer yesterday. Was $15.60! A year ago you could buy a Big Mac meal for $9.85 at McDonalds. Now it’s $13.

Not many young people getting into the sport anymore either, just to expensive. Even decent gear with avy pack your going to spend 2500bucks. Also it seems a lot of people can't afford to have a sled off of warranty. If you take a 2-3yr depreciation loss to trade up to always have a sled on warranty that is expensive. And there is always the fact that nobody wants a used turbo 2-stroke snowmobile.

Not sure why people are not willing to replace an engine themselves. Seems to be a simple task if you can hold a tool in your hand and read a manual. Replacement engines are available and isn't that part of two stroke ownership.
Actually rebuilding an engine is another thing.

your all overthinking this. Its not the pricing or inflation. Every other powersports division is selling lots of product

This has been 2 ch*t snow years in a row. That's all there is to it.
Other powersports products don't depreciate nearly a bad a snowmobile does the first couple of years. I know if I was on a budget I would never buy a sled, a SxS or atv would be the better buy, more of a 4 season unit.

maybe an issue for you but not for most, how do you figure a turbo with 180hp at altitude with 3 years warranty isn't worth 25 k lol? these new machines are 10x the machine we had when you were paying 15k for a new one. a 60k build that has warranty and i dont have to wrench on, sounds perfect to me. Sure it would be awesome if it was 15 k but lets be realistic here the value is there for that price.
