I love all the bashing. The only reason im on here is because I am bored at work and not sledding. If people could just relax a bit and not get so hung up on it life would be so much better on S&M. By the way my XM is by far the best sled out there. Also was looking for some info on what kind of oil is best to run. Thanks for listening everyone. See you all on the hill oneday.

I usually look to this site for failures or potential issues so I can address it before my next ride if needed, although it is extremely difficult to sift through the trash talk & garbage....

Amen to that. The trash talk will always be there, no issue with it in the appropriate spots, but it spills over into everything because peeps get a chip on their shoulder, they lift themselves up on a pedestal about how great they think they are, or why their opinion on a subject they know nothing about, suddenly matters. Its funny, you rarely see guys like Burandt, etc etc posting on the forums, they are confident, they don't need to seek validation of it. On the internet, even the most uneducated person can be an expert in everything. Refer to the replies at the bottom of every CBC article for reference.

When I'm trying to get a legit issue resolved or see if there is something I can improve on my sled, and have to read through 10 pages of "you should have bought a ____" or "that doesn't work (even though I never tried it)" to get one solid answer, it gets old....fast. It also turns people away from replying. Sure we can all say, "well just read it or skip the BS posts" but my time matters to me. In order to sift through the crap you gotta look at each one, even briefly. We all lose out on technical info each time that the BS and bashing starts.

Example: Some guy starts a thread about track upgrading (for example), and it turns into a holier than thou thread about 15 vs 16 wide (which he can't even fit on his sled anyway so what's the point of bringing it into the argument - remember this is an example, so don't go off about it), then on page 5 he has another question about what rail or tunnel extentions to buy..... someone might have had a great answer for him, but they never got to page 5 because on page 3 they had enough of the BS and stopped looking at the thread so they never saw his question.

This is me to a "T", I might have something legit to contribute, but I lose interest quick when the BS starts. hell, I was even reluctant to reply here because after page 2 I skipped to page 5 and the entire bashing issue might already be resolved, but I like Trashy so I thought I'd give it one legit post to contribute. Also, you might miss a valid response because you've stopped reading certain peoples's posts altogether. Hell, some people might not read this post at all, so what's the point right?

Something to think about.

For the guys that are looking to be entertained with all the bashing, keep it in a few threads, and its all good.

This past weekend I rode my buddy's '13 RMK and my other buddy's '12 1100 turbo. They were both wicked sleds and both have their pros and cons, same as my xm. It's all rider preference. We go back to the cabin shoot the sh!t and bash each other about our sleds and riding abilities, its just all in good fun. People gotta chill out and not get so butt hurt all time.

Sounds exactly like most your posts. Instead of bitching about albertans bringing a ch!t ton of money to the Bc economy that is obviously flopping. Go get a job and get of the grass.
Yeah!!! What he said.
